TU Delft EngD Programme Contributes to MycoStruct Research

The MycoStruct project is welcoming the involvement of two Engineering Doctorate (EngD) candidates from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Through a group project focused on challenges in mycelial fermentation, the candidates will contribute to ongoing research activities at TU Delft.

The EngD programme in Bioprocess Engineering is a two-year post-master's programme that combines advanced technical education with practical design experience. It prepares engineers to address complex challenges in biotechnology and industrial bioprocessing by applying their knowledge to real-world problems.

As a MycoStruct consortium partner, TU Delft contributes expertise in bioprocess engineering and computational modelling, supporting research into bioreactor conditions, process optimisation and scale-up.

The involvement of EngD candidates creates an opportunity to connect advanced engineering education with applied research, while providing practical experience within an international collaborative project.
